TEKSTographers - A Butterfly Effect
Something I never really anticipated when I started TEKSTartist, was the impact it would have on other artists all over the world (emerging and established alike). I’ve received an increasing frequency of messages and photos from artist who were inspired to create their own pieces of “TEKST”.
I wanted to share just a few of the amazing works of art that have landed in my inbox from emerging “TEKSTographers”:
The first few come from Elizabeth J. in Oklahoma:

Here is an image of a piece by Steve B. in New York (click on that photo for the making of video!)
Steve is actually an Art Teacher out in NY, and his class has created TEKSTart on multiple occasions. As a matter of fact, they are currently running a TEKSTart contest at their school with some authentic TEKST gear as the grand prize! Here are a few shots from their contest video:

Last but certainly not least, Juno L in Hong Kong, China completed and sent photos of this HUGE piece:

If you have created TEKSTart of your own, and would like to share, shoot an email to TEKSTartist(at)gmail(dot)com (who knows… you just might find your work on a future blog post!)
